From workflow to working system

HOW THE WORK RUNS

Every engagement is scoped around a real operating problem, explicit safeguards, and a testable definition of success.

STEP 01

DISCOVER

Identify the workflow, people, systems, pain, volume, exceptions, and desired outcome. If automation is not the right answer, say so.

STEP 02

MAP

Document the current state, system of record, access boundaries, failure paths, human approvals, baseline, and measurement method.

STEP 03

SCOPE

Agree on deliverables, responsibilities, integrations, exclusions, timing, acceptance criteria, support, and third-party costs before building.

STEP 04

BUILD

Implement in controlled stages, using test data where possible. Add logging, retries, alerts, and manual escape routes appropriate to the workflow.

STEP 05

VALIDATE

Test normal cases, bad inputs, vendor failures, duplicate events, access boundaries, and human-review checkpoints against the agreed criteria.

STEP 06

HAND OFF

Document ownership, credentials, operating instructions, alerts, recovery, change control, retention, and offboarding. Train the people responsible.

STEP 07

IMPROVE

Measure the agreed baseline and outcome. Fix what is not working, then expand only when the first workflow has earned it.

START WITH THE WORKFLOW

Bring the process that creates the most rework, delay, or after-hours admin.
